PORT AND CRANBERRY SAUCE

Serve with pork, chicken or even an apple pie!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of Port wine

    2 Cups of Ocean Spray® Craisins ® Dried Cranberries

    1 Cup of water

    1 Sprig of fresh rosemary

    1 Tbsp grated ginger

    1 Stick of cinnamon

    ½ cup of brown sugar

    Juice of ½ a lemon

    Pinch of salt

    2 Tbsp butter

Directions:

Combine all ingredients (minus the butter and lemon juice) in a stainless steel pot.

  • Cook on medium heat for 15 minutes. Cook until the Craisins®are soft.

  • Pour liquid into a blender with the butter and lemon juice.

  • Puree and strain.

    Yield:

    3 Cups
